According to each type of emergency, different measures are taken to mitigate them, and each of these measures is facilitated by several Instruments for emergency care that current technology provides. Some of them are for certain particular cases but all are useful in every emergency in which you have experience.
Some of the most used emergency care instruments
• Use of remote sensors in natural threat assessments,
Remote sensing is the process of recording information by means of sensors located in an airplane or in satellites. The technique is applicable since there are different emergencies related to the state of the recurrent terrain that leave traces of previous episodes. Aerial remote sensing is useful in managing natural threats to focus priority areas, verify small-scale data interpretation, and reveal features that are too small to be detected by satellite images.
• The oxygen flow regulator,
It is a small and light device that delivers oxygen through an integral flow control valve, which indicates the measurement of the flow ranges selectable by the user.
• Valve on demand,
It has been conceived for the administration of oxygen 100% controlled by the respiratory action of the patient. It is specially designed to be used by emergency services. It also has a manual push button located on the front of the device to keep the airways open.
• Table of spinal immobilization,
It is made of high density polypropylene to allow a load capacity of 225 Kg. Being translucent, it generates minimum interference in taking rx plate, mri, tc p and procedures in scanner. Includes patient restraint harness.
• The first fan designed specifically for the professional SME, the AutoVent 2000,
Provides independent controls for tidal volume and BPM. The AutoVent 3000; with additional inspiratory time settings; offers an even wider range of patient applications to meet the most critical emergency care situations.
• The Suction Unit,
It consists of a suction regulator and a suction container. When connected to the vacuum outlet of the hospital and suitably regulating the pressure, the device eliminates the patient’s foreign substances. The suction separator unit has a floating valve that opens and closes automatically, facilitating a double protective function against foreign substances.
• Ambu Resuscitator,
It is a type of mask with a self-expanding bag that is used to help children or adults who are not breathing or who have difficulty breathing on their own. It is a manually held and operated tool and is used to continuously provide oxygen to a person’s lungs in a process called ventilation.
